Emotional ravings of an erotic author

This has to be one of my favorite sites on the web: Beautiful Agony.

I love this site! I love watching a woman’s face as she masturbates and brings herself closer and closer to an orgasm, then loses her self control for that brief moment - or sometimes an extended moment - of ecstasy.

And that’s what this is. Hundreds and hundreds of women masturbating (and a few being pleasured by others). There’s no plot, no staging, no “production values” and no porn-star acting - just real women doing what few people ever see.

Most are on their backs, looking up at the camera, but some are on their tummies with the camera at the side (I like those). A few are in unusual positions, like standing, sitting, kneeling or whatever.

If you are a man and want to see what a real orgasm looks like - or if you’re a woman like me and enjoy watching other women losing it - this is your site! My husband enjoys the “lover’s eye view” of the ones on their backs. It gives you the same perspective that a man (or a woman with a strap-on) would have if he was fucking her.

Of course, there are a probably few - in my opinion very few - who are faking it, but even most of the ones that look like they might be faking are probably just “getting into it”. The cool thing is that once you watch a hundred or two, you learn a lot about different women’s orgasms. You start to see patterns, things that women don’t realize that they are doing, things that I do myself and never noticed until I saw it on the faces of a dozen other women.

And for me, that’s the wonder of it all. I feel a camaraderie with them. In some ways, I’m embarrassed for them and in other ways I want to applaud them. But mostly I just enjoy sharing something that I really understand. I know what she’s going through. I know what she’s feeling.

I’m going to write more later about some of the specific “Agonies” as they are called and talk about some of the feelings that they arouse in me (and my husband). But for now, I’ll give you some bullet points:

  • It’s a pay site (US$14.95 for 30 days, $29.95 for 90 days), but once you sign up, you can download the videos to your hard drive and play them whenever you want.
  • The newest files are 640×480 resolution. Some of the older ones are less than that (416×312 or 320×240). All of them include live sound (no music, no overlaid faked screaming) .
  • Most were recorded by the women themselves - presumably in their own bedroom. Some of them were recorded in a plain studio. A few were done outdoors or in a chair or something unique. In most cases, there is nothing more than a face, a pillow and some shoulders.
  • There is no nudity unless you count bare shoulders and some occasional cleavage.
  • At current count, there are 965 files (757 female/213 male) and that number grows by about one per day. Actually, there’s more than that, cuz some of the women come more than once and there’s an area of outtakes (called “overkill”) that contains more files from the same people.
  • Each page of the site shows twenty thumbnails, one for each of twenty Agonies. You can filter for male or female in case you get weirded out by looking at one gender or the other.
  • Most of the women/men have also recorded a “confession” which is kind of an interview in which they talk about sex and orgasms and funny/naughty things they’ve done and the meaning of it all.
  • The outfit is located in Australia and most of the Agonees speak some flavor of Aussie/UK English with a few from Canada/US and even fewer from non-English speaking countries. It adds flavor, especially in the confessions. You get a real sense of each woman being from a place and having a life experience.
  • There are all ages from eighteen up to probably fifty or sixty. They don’t give details but most of the women appear to be in their twenties or thirties. Some are married, some are single, some are divorced, some have boyfriends/girlfriends. Some are straight, some gay, some bi, most undisclosed.
  • There is a wonderful confession where an early-twenty-something talks about the difference between butch/femme and ChapStick lesbians.

There is a lot more than I can put in one blog entry, so I’ll end it here and write more later.

Enjoy.
