Emotional ravings of an erotic author

I wish same-sex marriage were legal. I understand the desire of two men or two women to make their relationships official.

And there is another kind of marriage that I would dearly love to have: the triad. It’s not that *I* would want to marry a woman - *we*, my husband and I, would like to have the option of marrying a woman.

There was a really good friend whom we both loved - and still love - and could have made a life with, if society would have allowed it. Instead, we all-three knew that it couldn’t be and she eventually married another man.

It wasn’t fair to her to not be a real part of us, for her to be something less-than a wife and to have to hide our relationship.

She’s happy with him but I wish it could have been we who fulfilled her and she who completed us.

We keep in touch, but it isn’t the same.

Sure, if we allow triads, what about more than three? I’m OK with it for those who wish it, but for me, for us, for her, three would have been enough.
